TRINITY MOTHER FRANCES REHABILITATION HOSPITAL AWARDED STROKE CERTIFICATION FROM THE JOINT COMMISSION

Trinity Mother Frances Rehabilitation Hospital’s stroke rehabilitation program has earned the Gold Seal of Approval for health care quality. The Joint Commission awarded Trinity Mother Frances Rehabilitation Hospital Disease-Specific Care Certification for Stroke Rehabilitation.

To earn this distinction, a disease management program undergoes an extensive, unannounced, on-site evaluation by a team of Joint Commission reviewers every two years. The program is evaluated against Joint Commission standards through an assessment of a program’s processes, the program’s ability to evaluate and improve care within its own organization, and interviews with patients and staff.

Because Joint Commission standards are regarded as the most rigorous in the industry, Joint Commission-certified disease management programs have demonstrated their commitment to providing quality care to their patients. Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval is a clear sign that certified programs have demonstrated compliance with the most stringent standards of performance.
